Quick glossary so newer members can follow along. OPT is Optional Practical Training, up to 12 months of work authorization tied to your degree. CPT is Curricular Practical Training, authorized during your program. STEM OPT is the 24-month extension for qualifying degrees. NIW is the National Interest Waiver under EB-2. EB-1A is the extraordinary ability green card. PD is your priority date. RFE is a Request for Evidence. Which term still trips you up?
